Death Readiness Is a Family Affair

I talk about death and estate planning a lot. It’s part of my work, my mission, and my daily conversations.

But nothing brings it home quite like seeing my daughter, April, wearing our latest Death Readiness merch. This is why I do what I do.

Because estate planning isn’t just about lawyers and paperwork.

It’s about mothers and daughters.
Sisters and aunties.
Best friends who show up when it matters most.

When I see April in this shirt, I see what generational care looks like. I see what women supporting women looks like.

That’s why I believe estate planning conversations belong around kitchen tables as much as in conference rooms. You don’t need to be a lawyer to talk about how you want your love, your values, and your legacy to carry forward.

April and I twinning in these shirts is more than a sweet photo op. It’s a reminder: Death Readiness is about equipping the people we love most with clarity, confidence, and care so they never have to navigate the hardest moments alone.
